The wood used is either maple or oak and also plywood. The result is a STRONG DURABLE FRAME that is built to survive years of day-in/day-out use inside our beautiful styling, handsome fashion fabrics, and sumptuous leathers. Springs Seat: No-sag spring/Gauge (8 mm). The average sofa takes 15 springs; loveseat 10 and chair 6. Back: No-sag spring/Gauge (12 mm). The back of the sofa takes 12 springs; loveseat 8 and chair 4.
